Welcome to Bermuda adventure !

Power is back

Power is back

After few days' search finally I purchased computer power supply, made some  remaking and supplied my ICOM 7300 from that source. First 100 QSOs are in the log. See you down the log.

Update

Hurricane Fiona went away. Press informed about maximum wind speed 165 km/h. Four hours ago we were supplyed electricity.

Tomorrow I will search power supply for my transceiver.

Broken power supply

Waiting for hurricane Fiona which should pass near Bermuda I tested today my equipment and after few minutes my power supply refused to work. I tryed to find electronic shop in nearby area but without succes. Probably on Monday, afer hurricane I will go to Hamilton, capital if the island but as far as I know finding power supply for 12V/20A could be a problem....

I took spare laptop with me but no spare power supply :-(

It is hard to take all parts of equipment in spare units...

Hurricane Fiona

Hurricane Fiona

Due to expected strong hurricane Fiona passing Bermuda (expected  wind speed over 100km/h) beginning od my operation will be delayed probably until Sunday.

This time my destiny is Bermuda (on one corner of the Bermuda Triangle) and I will operate mostly on WARC bands. I will take very modest equipment but I hope some of you can work me as ATNO (All Time New One).
